Latalus is a genus where pointed noses are a common trait.

Adult Latalus sayii are active in West Virginia in any month when the days are warm enough. In West Virginia it seems to be near the southern edge of its range.

Right: An egg-laden female Latalus sayii with a swollen abdomen.
