Adults are often found perched on the leaves of trees and shrubs, and are also attracted to lights.
It isn't known how many Ctenicera species live in West Virginia, but across North America this is an extremely species-rich genus.
Right: Some of the key traits are large eyes, a rounded scutellum, and an especially elongated pronotum.
